Who we are
PRINEL, S.A. de C.V., (Proyectos de Ingeniería Electromecánica, S.A. de C.V.) started its operations in El Salvador in the year 1983, dedicated to the design, consulting and execution of mechanical, electrical in control, low voltage and high voltage systems, and telephony projects and to a direct representation of manufacturers and distributors of equipment and materials.

PRINEL has growth constantly and has developed many huge projects such as generation plants (thermal, geothermal and combined cycle), cement plants, mines; different kinds of industrial plants; in telephony: outside plants, fiber optic, and mounting of towers; in all of them, developing the civil, electrical and mechanical works.

With the years, its capacity and experience have allowed the company to participate in the construction and enlargement of big projects in countries of Central America and the Caribbean, developing works and legally establishing in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, Panama, Dominican Republic and Bahamas; execution of works in St. Vincent, and having sent professional personnel to projects in Cuba.

Capacity and Experience
Nowadays we are a leader company at Central America and the Caribbean in the execution of the erection of electrical and mechanical projects, transmission and distribution lines; substations, electrical works in low voltage as residential, commercial and industrial installations; civil works of important sizes, data transmission systems, telephony systems and the supplying of electromechanical equipment and several materials.

The acquired experience within more than twenty five years of working, as well as our multidisciplinary capacity, has allowed us to participate in the construction and enlargement of important projects and to contribute to the growth of the energetic sector and the industrial construction in general.

We have at the moment a high qualified human resource in different types of engineering, architecture and project administration; it is important to mention that PRINEL has an excellent infrastructure and all necessary equipment to accomplish every work, including a 250 ton crane, a 140 ton crane and a 150 ton lowboy. Through these years we have work for multinational corporations such as: GENERAL ELECTRIC, WARTSILA, MAN, SUMITOMO, FLUOR, F.L. SMIDTH, BLACK & VEATCH, LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES, AEG, ICA-FLUOR DANIEL, ERICSSON, AT&T, TELEFÓNICA, etc.
