All the projects executed by PRINEL are based on the “SECAPRO” philosophy.
SECAPRO means Security, Quality and Production (by its translation into Spanish) in harmony with the CARE AND PRESERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT.
For that reason, especially for our workers, we have developed some illustrative Regulations and Manuals with the “PRINELITO” figure, with the fundamental idea of instructing and training all our workers in a simple and understandable way, how to make all the activities to be executed in the projects.
The basic documents (PRINELITOS) are:
Regulation of Behavior and Discipline.
Safety, Health and Environment Manual.
Small Things that Makes the Great Difference.
PRINELITO has the following objectives:
1.To show the work instructions through a visual-lively form.
2.To incentive the personnel to keep a positive attitude in the work.
3.To protect at maximum the personnel’s physical integrity, trying to reduce accidents.
4.To reduce the possibilities to make mistakes at work.
5.To avoid repetition of works.
6.To avoid unnecessary dead time.
7.To keep in order and clean the working areas.
8.To care and preserve the environment.
9.And mainly, to do the work according to a concordant common line with the characteristic philosophy of PRINEL.
The summary of our SECAPRO philosophy is:
“EVERY WORK MUST BE MADE WITHOUT DAMAGING ANYBODY NEITHER ANYTHING, WELL DONE AND FAST”
For every worker to know and implementing the SECAPRO philosophy in each project are made training and inductions of introduction to all workers that begin their activities in a specific
project and everyday are group meetings. As support, PRINEL has own software for controling and keep relevant statistics to their projects, being the most important programs:
• Accident and Incident Control.
• Using the medical kit and Disease.
• Weather Statistics.
• Inventory Control and Warehouse.
• Working meetings and commitments.
• Document Control.
• Photographic Record.
• Performance.
• Works progress.
The philosophy SECAPRO application has demanded us HIGH STANDARDS in the performance of the different activities, which has taken us to be a RELIABLE COMPANY, WITH SOLID BASES, ABLE TO COMPETE IN THE INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION MARKET AND WITH AN ENTIRE SATISFACTION OF OUR CLIENTS.
The production in the works developed by PRINEL is supported by 7 values: ATTITUDE, DISCIPLINE, ORDER, HYGIENE, GOOD TREATMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY AND QUALITY; and its relative and qualitative importance is presented in the PRINEL's pyramid, which applies to the behavior of everyone within a project.
Supervisors and work controllers in PRINEL projects must apply the circle of work: PLANNING, ORGANIZATION, EXECUTION, SUPERVISION AND EVALUATION; and for each of the above activities there are tools or work procedures to support the work of the supervisor or controller.
In its projects, PRINEL has the capacity to develop CIVIL WORK, STRUCTURE ASSEMBLY, MECHANICAL WORK and ELECTRICAL WORK together or individually; and for the execution, PRINEL has its typical form of organization.
